Run + Gun with Ophelia
I recently upgraded my iPhone situation (they announced new camera tools!) and have been so impressed with the photo quality that I HAD to try it in an unorthodox, Christina-fied test… Shooting and editing an entire fashion editorial, “run + gun” style with nothing more than my new iPhone 18 Pro.
I reached out to a model I’d only been able to work with briefly, prior to my extended photography break, and inquired as to whether she’d be interested in a 90 minute, experimental photo shoot. I explained to Ophelia that my plan was to shoot the set entirely on iPhone. No “big” camera, no interchangeable lenses, no supplemental lighting. Just me, my iPhone 18 Pro and a bag of clothes to style her. She enthusiastically agreed and our shoot date was on!
We worked on location in Richmond, during the Thanksgiving long weekend on a beautiful, sunny day - perfect for playing “dress up and photographer.”
To say that I am surprised and pleased with the resulting images is an understatement, but I’ll let you decide.
