It's been a busy week of new editorial releases - 4 in fact with, 2 more on the horizon! The volume of work published goes to show how busy I've been throughout our gorgeous summer this year. Since I stepped out of a reliable, predictable studio environment this past season, virtually all my published editorial contributions have been shot on location... making the shooting process more challenging and in a lot of ways, more satisfying. Bending natural light to my will was a formidable task some days with very intense sunlight being my enemy. Other shoot challenges included voracious mosquitoes in field/park settings and finding high/low tidal schedules that meshed with ideal sunlight conditions. Yup, mother nature can be a bit of a bitch at times... but in the end I think I benefited from being pushed on my technical skills and thoroughly enjoyed my time out of the studio.
Here are some samples and editorial links to the work my creative teams and I have created these last few months:
FOLKLore: featured in Estela Magazine print-on-demand /online Fall 2014 Issue and on Estela Magazine's website
As I said, it's been a busy Summer! There are at least 2 more editorials scheduled to make their appearance in the next 4-12 weeks and more work to come in the new year.
